If you enjoy the modern Economist's information density and rational approach, you'll probably enjoy seeing how it described and delivered major historical events as they unfolded. If you're into historical commodity prices, there are also plenty of those.

Ability to download entire issues would be a great improvement. Excellent way of seeing how what is history to us was viewed in the past when events were happening. However, I would say that the materials are a little bit hard to navigate. I wish I could have downloaded a full issue in a PDF format and go through them rather than having to manually download 25 pages of content. In addition, some of the earlier issues are not really readable. If those issues have been re-made for readability, that would be great.

I was very excited to be able to read the old articles from the Economist. Glad to support this offer and I continue to be impressed with how a newspaper can continue to offer great products in the challenging digital age.
